Can Christians celebrate Halloween? Halloween is a holiday of imitation. And imitation means to do just like someone else. Imitation actually involves becomes likes someone or something. Christians are encouraged to practice imitation. John says in his third letter to a group of Christians, “imitate good, not evil.” Christians are ultimately called to imitate Jesus.
