How does God build a body? That’s a great question! In his letter to the churches in Ephesus, the apostle Paul declares that God has saved us by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that God has broken down the dividing wall of hostility between Jew and Gentile; and that God has made the outsiders citizens of his house!
So how does God build a body? First, God builds a body by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. He has prepared good works for us to walk in. How’s your walk going? Second, God builds a body by breaking down the dividing wall of hostility. What walls are you putting up in your community, in your relationships with your family, and in your relationship with God? Third, God builds a body by making outsiders insiders. Are you drawing outsiders in or pushing them away?
